Welcome to GlobeStar Mining Corporation ("GlobeStar"), an emerging copper and gold producer in the Dominican Republic. GlobeStar is currently constructing the Cerro De Maimón mine which is slated for completion in the summer of 2008. Cerro de Maimón will be the first new copper-gold mine in the Dominican Republic. At full production, Cerro de Maimón will be a low cost producer and produce approximately 33.5 million pounds of copper; 18,000 ounces of gold; and 500,000 ounces of silver annually.
GlobeStar is also engaged in the exploration of nickel laterites in the Dominican Republic and the exploration and acquisition of gold and copper properties in the major mining districts.
GlobeStar also own several limestone deposits in the Dominican Republic and a lithium project in Quebec in its industrial minerals portfolio.

GlobeStar began trading on the TSX in January 2007. GlobeStar is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario and operates in the Dominican Republic through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Corporación Minera Dominicana.
